Triple-Layer Construction

• Powder-coated sheet steel exterior for durability and chemical resistance

• Built-in spill containment bund for electrolyte capture

• Provides over 24 hours of fire resistance, containing heat and combustion products throughout the burn

How it works

Thermal runaway generates extreme heat, rapidly expanding gases, projectiles and flames. Battery Safe containers are engineered to manage each of these challenges:

Gas management and deflagration venting prevents pressure build-up

Thermo-expanding seals activate under high temperatures

Triple-layer steel and insulation structure absorbs and contains heat

Intumescent channels expand rapidly suppressing any flame escape.
